Excellent post....agreee on all aspects.

I thought of the sabot concept. Remington commercialized the idea years ago but it was not practical...although some rifle squads will use the round in special circumstances. The sabot round was limited in accuracy but certainly was good enough to do the job that this shooter is doing.

Sierra does make a "Blitz" bullet....very frangible.
