How many times do I have to mention these qualifications until they stick?

The difficulties of communication are many and varied. Some of them are understandable. Others not so. You do not need to repeat your qualifications and exceptions. I understand and accept that there is revision to traditional moral standards over time. Really, I do. You do not have to continue to frustrate yourself making that point. You are describing a moralistic scheme. I am describing something different, something outside that box. The mechanism for evolution of standards within your scheme is of only peripheral interest to me and no has no relevance that I can see to a discussion about the differences BETWEEN schemes. Which is what I thought we were talking about. At least it's what I'm talking about.
