We are once again in the land in which criticism of US policy is dubbed anti-American and in which some of the previous recipients of the Nobel prize are dubbed "savages,"

I take it you don't believe that Nobel Peace Prize winners who plan and execute attacks on Olympic athletes and send children to their death in bomb attacks against civilians are savages?

If those are your standards, I suppose Idi Amin would be a great candidate for the Prize.

You need to scratch the surface behind the Prize. Getting it does not canonize the recipient.

I have no huge problem with Carter getting the Prize. He's a nice enough fellow, though a little fuzzy headed, like his trademark sweaters. He was a terrible President, however.
