Do you dispute any of these well know and well reported historical facts? Are you saying that Reagan/Bush DIDN'T over-ride the State Dept.'s terrorist designation for Iraq... and then sell him chemicals he made poison gas out of... and helicopters he used to spray it... gave him sat. intel on the Iranians... allowed the export of Anthrax to him, etc.? -------------------------------------------------------- Answer - Saddam is the same now as he was then... no qualitative difference. His murderous totalitarian reign was well know long before Reagan and Bush decided to use him as our cat's paw vs. the Iranians... and trade with him, and supply him with the chemical precursors for weapons, and sell him 7 different strains of anthrax, and over-ride the State Department's prohibitions against trading with him because he was on the list of 'terrorist supporting' states. And everyone in the know is aware of it.
