Re - languishing AUD, CAD, etc...

Those of us with non-USD cash and gold keep waiting for the crash in the USD - what if it never comes? I spoke with the conservative manager of a locked-in RRSP (like a 401K in Canada) about moving some funds into golds - NEM, HGMCY, AU. His opinion is that we will not see a crash in the USD because we already are into competitive deflation and despite all the doom and gloom, the USD is likely to deflate slower than all the others. If so, then the USD might remain the best of a bad lot, which argues against a massive increase in the POG.

I like this guy because he thinks for himself (and he has held on to almost all of my profits since 2000!).
