I've seen some very rich liberals out there, especially in Hollywood and the "mainstream media." You can hardly classify them as becoming more conservative as they acquired their wealth. In fact, they may have gotten more liberal, probably because they can now afford to be. Meanwhile, I've seen some very poor conservatives out there, especially those who would benefit the most from liberal social programs.

It's all a matter of values.

P.S. - I remember Scumbria telling me that Silicon Valley is full of liberals. And most of those liberals are very rich ... er, at least at the time he told me that.
