PDG shows the conservative COVER signal today

agreed.

If you're a gambler, I believe we will see lower lows.
I say in 5 trading days we recover yesterday's lows. Maybe not. It's a risk.

I know I speak in absolutes (COVER signal, BUY signal, HOLD SHORT signal, etc) but the reality is that I mean probabilities (60% probability that COVER makes sense, 50% that now is the time to BUY, 85% that HOLD SHORT is the best course of action, etc). Sorry, it's just me.

As to stochastics, I found them to be unreliable under some critical circumstances. However, your suggestion of combining MACD and stochastics might have some merit.

I'd be interested to see examples of historical moments when stochastics are over bought and see if it lines up with MACD curves. I'm not happy with my interpretation of MACD COVER. I'd love to come up with a more reliable COVER signal.

Are you willing to do some preliminary investigation?

You be careful out there
