I lived through the Carter era as an adult. I dont think he was most of the things you accuse him of. He was just IMHO a nice NAIVE man who THOUGHT he was doing the right thing but he had little experience and poor advisors. Personally, I did quite well under him as I had the resources to SCOOP UP those high paying CD's and the assets that did good under the resultant caused inflation. He was not stupid, its just that his intelligence was in a different area (such as Physics). Sadly, he is STILL NAIVE and a sort of bumbler much like the impression I have of the people who award these prizes. I agree TOTALLY with your Reagan comments. IMHO he did more to promote REAL PEACE where it counts (superpower peace) then anyone ever did or ever will do. jdn
