Giving away 1/3 of STI to CDTS is not really helpful. Now, their combined burn rate will go to around $10 MM/quarter, unless they rapidly close the CDTS facilities, which does not seem to be in the plan. With the new injection of funds they will have a combined cash position of about $28 MM, barely two to three quarters at their current bleeding rate, I think that this stock will rapidly drop under half a buck and maybe even worse. They should have let CDTS die and just pick up some choice assets at 10 cents on the dollar. I think this merger has not taken into account the stock holders, just the interest of the managers to hold their job a little longer.
