Do you truly consider it an "anti-war" position to propose we take a few weeks to try to get a tough UN resolution that will bring others on board with us to share the cost in blood and gold? -- followed by aggressive inspections ignoring any delaying or protesting tactics of Saddam, and instead, if we find WMD, telling the folks to get out while we disarm or destroy the WMD? I call your attention to the fact that I have made clear I don't think the horse will fly either, but think, with most Americans, that if we don't have to go it alone, unsupported, we shouldn't. Though it's highly unlikely the horse will fly, it's not so far fetched that we could get some allies on board. Cobe has no problem with doing it this way, why do you? (If you do.)
