Sounds good mind. I agree on REITS and bonds.

Re the mkt overall the mkt may be anticpating the invasion of Iraq and a potential collapse of consumer spending that could occur along with an invasion.

If we do invade and it gets done with fairly quickly, or somehow the situation is resolved another way, I think the mkt would rally. Whether it would be the beginnig of a long-term market recovery I do not know.

But if we invade and things go badly, the mkt could tank more and consumers would stay home imo.

In any event consumer debt is at record highs and existing home prices have peaked and are weakening, at least in my neck of the woods. So i think the consumer spending mania is over. Business spending is going to need to pick up to pull us higher. But again the mkt may have already priced in the slackening consumer spending.

So bottom line I think we need to get past the Iraq situation before a true picture emerges of how much risk is left in the mkt.
