10,000 registered .223 caliber rifles ... well now that there are about 1000 law enforcement officials involved, it should only take about 2 days to talk to every sniper rifle enthusiast in the area. Again, way better than checking white vans. These guy(s) has to practice SOMEWHERE. The police need to beat the bushes in gun-club-land - and stay actively on the beat. Eventually someone who suspects someone of acting unusual will come forward. Chris
