Al >If he was on Ian Smith's side he gets my vote of confidence

Very politically incorrect to admit such a thing these days. Nevertheless I do appreciate your sentiment. Regretfully, the old Rhodesia is now just a memory and the future is a cesspool too horrible to contemplate.

And who can doubt that the US supports Mugabe? Who is benefiting from the misdirected US food-aid if not the Mugabe regime?

>>>A top United States food aid official on Friday warned that Zimbabwe would face a "major famine" if the government did not clear away bureaucratic roadblocks and allow massive amounts of food to be imported by the end of the year.<<<

Fat chance of that happening. Mugabe will see that his pals and his pals alone will receive whatever food there is.

And the world, as usual, says nothing. And does nothing. Of course, the "do-gooders" keep on doing good.

>The US government and media has done much to attempt to discredit the militia movement

IMO, an aspect of the present militancy of the US gov is an attempt to direct the attention of such people away from themselves towards scapegoats and, to a large extent, I think they have succeeded. In fact, ZOG appears to be more self-confident than ever.
