Mr. and Mrs. Carter have dedicated their lives to public service. His good works have been
overlooked by Americans. I recall when he slipped into jeans and joined others to build houses
for the poor. Recently, I saw a tv program about his visit to Africa to draw attention to the
AIDS's crisis.
