Give it up, Thomas Friedman It is touching to think intelligent thinkers still come to this conclusion: Frankly, I don't want to hear another word about Iraq right now. I want to hear that my president and my Congress are taking the real steps needed in this country Obviously, the mannequins in Washington don't represent the people, and their tremendous political gain comes from America's insecurity -- the more Americans are terrorized, the more power they gain, pure and simple ... The answer is all too clear: Get rid of the leadership of both parties, vote them out, impeach the impeachable, recall the recallable, strike on taxes, find non-terrorist gasoline to buy, and organize in every way as if it were a matter of life and death. Or keep putting on big fat target on your back every day when you leave the house.
