Of course newkewler is an 'alternative,' and improper, pronunciation. People who listen to the president on TV and don't read will all be saying it soon.

Well E, there is no National Academy for the English language. There is no such thing, strictly, as an "improper" pronunciation. How do you pronounce Aluminum?
