West u are absolutely correct, we should have fallen out of 7000 with the move last thursday but the PPT (Plunge Protection team) came to work knowing they would cause a severe short cover rally if they put their money to work at the 7300 area.

they did and many folks ran for cover. Is it just coincidental that it happened just 2 days prior to the biggest earnings week in the S&P? I think not.

Its too bad bacause the longer we stay above 6800 the longer this bear wil eat every rally!!

I hope like most here we could finally get a wash out, but these RETARDS on CNBC and else where just have to continue to call this market UNDERVALUED, and continue to dismiss the similarities between Japan and US.

The bottom line we now have DEFLATION starting and many will deny this or just ignore it as long as they can. I won't and I see DEFLATION coupled w. HIGHEST CONSUMER debt as reasons why this market has a very long way to go DOWN!

Good luck folks, and PS I was short PMCS from 10, AMCC and VTSS also
