I read your comment or wouldn't have bothered sending my own thought to you.... You said: I'm betting that whether this guy is a former soldier or a sniper wanna-be, he's not the mystic, soothsayer type. Ergo, that the Death card was the result of an impulse purchase to suit the act, not something he had laying around the house before the spree started. If the shooter is a former soldier or sniper, I agree he/she would probably not be the mystic type. (We agree). I'm beginning to think that the shooter is not a former soldier or sniper, at least an American military person. I'm beginning to think it may be a terrorist who does know something about Tarot.....at least enough to know there IS such a thing, and that he/she would know that the Death card usually indicates "transitions or new beginnings".... I think that this/these person/s does have these cards 'hanging around the house'.....
