Meantime, 41 million Americans are going "bare" -- no insurance -- and hoping they don't get sick. But when they do, we all pay.

I think there is something real odd about healthcare statistics.

This post is as fresh in my mind as LarsA posted it.

All I can say is I know how much I paid for health insurance in the USA, and got an ace service, and how much I got taxed in the UK, and the health component of it. My immediate reaction is the USA health care system is much better. I still don't understand the statistics though. This does not necessarily mean I'm just stupid.. I just want to check over the figures some more before I believe them.
