Hi Ski,
I quess you have seen the carnage over on the tdfx thread. Seems like a very exciteable bunch! I think part of the reason for the volatility in the stock price has been the relatively small "float". (Or # of shares outstanding). Once the name gets better known on the street, and the realities of the 3d graphics changeover becomes more generally appreciated, these price swings should calm down as more insiders sell into the rise.

It's always interesting to hear from people inside the industry. What do you think of the changeover to 3d? I think it will rapidly sweep out the older graphic chipsets, especially of course for gaming.

Also, what is your opinion, (notice I ask only for an opinion!) of Quantum 3d? They are a hardware spinoff of 3Dfx.

And, incidentally, I am quite impressed with the specs of the ATI Rage Pro chipset as well. I have a 3 year old ATI board in my 2nd PC, an old Pentium 90. It has served me well.

Thanks for the reply... Edward
