We were travelling to Hampton Thursday and the rain in some places was torrential. Friday, the trip up to Dover was marked only by light rain but there had been some areas which had received the same rain that had moved from the western shore of the Chesapeake to the eastern shore. Yesterday, the trip to Horseheads, NY, was marked only be a very occasional light rain. It is clear here now and the sun is shining down on the laptop I am using... my portable for trips. The motel at which we are staying, has a high speed dataport - has a T-1 line to the internet - free. I did have to go get a new card for the laptop for $29 with software but as you can see it is up and running!
