Now if I haven't pissed off the anti-gun crowd enough, let me further it by suggesting that the serial killer in Maryland picked one of the best places in the country to do it, for the simple reason that it is one of the most anti-gun areas in the USA. You are kidding right? MD might have an active anti-gun lobby but its also one of the most heavily armed states and so is Va where the guy obviously lives. Out where I live there's a NRA sticker on every pickup, the start of hunting season is a cacophony of gunfire (coming from my own property since we hunt here). In the city where I work 30% of the people you pass on the street will have a freakin hand gun on them. One of the reasons MD has such an active anti-gun lobby is precisely because there are so many deaths every single year from gunshots, a lot of whom are children. Doctors come from all over the world to practice trauma treatment in Baltimore's hospitals just so they can get lots of practice in treating gunshot wounds. They can get more experience in a year here than they can get in ten years in their own countries.
