LDood, I have three sliding glass doors in my house. I installed the first one which involved tearing out a window and partitioning off the extra space to make the door fit. It's out here in my office leading to the garage so it's not so important(but the fit is good<G>). The other two(which lead to outside) I had professionally installed. I don't recall what the costs were, but I suggest calling someone. It isn't worth your time or effort, especially when you factor in you can pay for the labor with just two correct clicks of the mouse<G>
