Morning PB
IMO the only way to learn this game (and have lessons sink in) is to continue to actually invest at least small sums.
Today I will try to buy puts on Noc and Ba. And calls on Bmc, Tsco.
Overall am running about 1/2 short and 1/2 long and therefore market opening down does not cause panic or worry, which frees me to continue work on this house.
I have a new room about 14 by 23 nearly finished which will be "my" room for library, pictures, exercise equipment.
Some people collect bowling trophys, cat-show ribbons, moose heads to remind them of past success
I have things like one first place ten-k gold medal, sharpshooter medals, a 1917 gold peice.
And 40 shares of Dell from 1993. Which can be hung on the wall.
I have taken many lumps in this market, and now the one thing that irks me most is that I have to be conservative in buying materials.
I say to paste your best past efforts on the wall to remind one they have been succesful in the past
and can be again- otherwise just playing with this kind of market can often trash ones ego.
