Agree with you CB....however, if you read back a few posts, you will see how the context of the comments came to be....

kumar wondered what the US would do about terrorists in Bali. I found a link that said "Within a few hours Bush deplored the bombings, and offered US help in investigating."
kumar said he was hoping for tangible actions not hot air. I suggested very early this Monday AM that the bombings had just happened a few hours previously, and wondered where the rest of the world was on this.

al-Q and related terrorists are free to get funds and equipment from Iraq and other countries who believe that terrorism is the way their message is delivered.

Most of the Western world is in agreement....terrorism should be stopped. The sticking point seems to be twofold:

1) What and how to deal with terrorism and those who cause damage, and
2) What to do with those countries and individuals who fund it at any level.

The anti-war folks don't want war to solve the issues. Most of us feel that way as well. I certainly do. BUT, none of the anti-war folks have given much, if any, opinions on how the problems can be solved, other than perhaps letting the UN fix it. So far, the UN hasn't "fixed it," and they have had years to do so.

Just saying one doesn't want something isn't constructive. If the anti war folks could figure out a way to accomplish #1 and #2 above, I'm sure that we would all join them.
