Mindmeld, nothing wrong with Islam...the problem occurs in any society - when religion is twisted and one sect assumes too much power. It's happened throughout history (Hitler) and continues today - even in some parts of America (KKK=true Christians). Islam is like any religion, has many different sects. Some are pretty fcked up like you point out and some aren't. Unfortunately, it seems that the fcked up versions are the most pervasive right now.
