Public Enemy No. 1 today is a government that Cheney was in effect helping shore up just a couple of years ago. "shore up"? How? "in effect"? Huh? Your NYT writer made quite an accusation, but offered nothing to support it. More baseless, left-wing, anti-administration bunk, stockman. And, if Halliburton hadn't sold Iraq any oilfield equipment, the NYT no doubt would be laying the starvation of Iraqi children at Cheney's feet.
