Tourism to Muslim countries will suffer as a result of the Bali blast just as tourism into Egypt suffered a huge setback when the German tourists were gunned down.

I really don't understand these acts of self-destruction. If the loss of innocent life were not enough, the loss of tourism income will make many innocent, uninvolved Muslim families go hungry.

Tourist destinations with large Muslim populations will suffer a lot more than the tourists who will spend their money elsewhere.

Other than to incense the West, what possible advantage is to be gained by these acts of terrorism? There are no genuine military targets and no concrete gains that I can see.
