Dear Pat: It is a strong military that keeps OTHERS from attacking us. The problem today is these Terrorists are stateless so we cant counter just at one country. You lifestyle and freedom are in danger. If we dont nip this in the bud NOW you will find many changes in your life in the future, ask any Israeli what that means. If we have a successful conclusion in Iraq along with Afghanistan and maybe a few other smaller countries in the Middle East we just may begin to limit the places the El Quieda can hide in and train. That attack in Indonesia may actually help us in our effort as it could and probably did provide a fertile ground for these militants. Now, maybe the govt will see the danger and work with us to eradicate them there. jdn
