zonder, any number killed is a tragedy. We have learned not to trust European numbers. The "Jenin" lies were a good example, with phoney numbers in the Euro press that, when proved wrong, were never retracted. Here is what I pulled up from CNN just now. The "Guardian" has also proved to be an unreliable source.

>>>>KABUL Afghanistan (CNN) -- About 40 people, all civilians, were killed Monday in an attack by U.S. forces on a central Afghan village, Afghan Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullah said Tuesday. "Some 100" other people were wounded, he said.

Abdullah said the dead included 25 family members who were celebrating a wedding in a village in Uruzgan Province

The amazing thing about the Afghanistan War was how few casualties there were. I am not sure where you are on our campaign there, but we were attacked by people who were harbored there, that the Taliban refused to give up. What did you expect us to do?
