The Europeans will have their Galileo system up and running by '08. Alcatel and all the Europeans--and who knows who else--will presumably switch to Galileo by then. In the meantime, GPS will be the only satellite location service game around. The income stream should be good if GPS is used globally, but it will be limited by '08 if Galileo is successful.
