E.T your are speaking about an ideal world and I wish it should be as you say but unfortunate for all practical matters it is not.......... and more specific in this particular case, ........ were the US is the entity bringing criminal charges against those in question who now confessed that all they wanted is to kill Jews (who happen to be also US Citizen) It is a hate trial not a normal criminal trial and that makes a hell of difference
