Perhaps the "you can't be serious" is an over-emphasis, from too much cynicism -g-

Hostility, certainly, but not to you personally or your question, just from frustration at the political situation where we have endless rhetoric for war, with suppression of the kind of analysis of facts in that article. Those statements are worthy of debate, much more so than the crap in the Congressional debates, and what passes for "news" journalism these days.
