Yes, measuring bearishness is about measuring relative levels and is painted with a grey brush.

I too can see a case for a complete 5 down in the COMP and in the larger sense I think there is more bearishness in technolgy. Enough for an IT low? Perhaps.

Sounds like you have a good handle on things and with good money management, it should not matter if this was a multi- month low. If I was long at the bottom here (and sadly I was) I would be out now regardless of my trading time frames and spend some time watching (a 15% move from the lows is a superb annual return).
