Gore, who has promised to make a decision on another White House bid by the end of the year, won good reviews from skeptical Democrats for his appearances in Iowa on behalf of four congressional candidates. "He seems more relaxed -- he's not running for anything so he's comfortable," said Susan Salter of Mount Vernon, where Gore campaigned on behalf of Democratic House candidate Julie Thomas.
