So, Shorters know LU won't bankrupt either, but are playing it as so.
That is what your data just proved.
No one ever shorts when they think there is a chance of bankruptcy. They only short when they know things are temporarly rough for the company. This is because, if a company announced BK then the shorters would lose too.
So, a large short interest actually demonstrates confidence in LU. Weird logic, but true.
