You'd have to think either these guys know they'll be caught really soon and don't care, or they truly don't think they'll be caught at all. I'm leaning toward the latter simply because if they truly thought they were close to being captured I'd think they'd start trying to raise the body count as high as possible as fast as possible.

That raises an interesting question. On the first day's spree the killer(s) scored a number of hits. Ever since, they've taken one at a time. Why? Because the shooter realized that police would be on their toes, and multiple killings would be out of the question in future? What seems to be a change in plan suggests caution and preparation.

Is he (or they) really a delivery guy? I doubt it. First of all, if there really are two of them, then that's more or less excluded. Delivery people don't work in pairs. And I think by now that the person's employer would have noticed something: a pattern of deliveries to be made near the sites of the shootings, or deliveries not made that were supposed to be made.
