JDN,

You have bought the status quo and the spin that the current administration has put forth to disguise their imperialistic greed. I choose not to be naive..........if more people had stood their ground against the Vietnam War, the majority of the 50 some-odd thousand lives would have been saved. That's alot of suffering that could have been avoided. People were told that we had to stop Communism in the bud before it spread across the planet............they were wrong and many thousands of lives were lost in the process.

We have short memories when we wish to back a regime that is out of control..........a first strike is against world order and human kind...........take those words literally and be kind to humans. War is only the last resort and should be entered into with great despair.

It is our military might that causes the suicide bombings to be instituted.....most adversaries cannot hit us with impact using any other means cause they lack the ability to defend against our military.

I attended a Palestinian wedding last week and learned that they are people just like ourselves..............neither they nor us deserve to pay the ultimate price for the ideological differences and the imperialistic greed of our leaders.............I shall not stand like a blind lemming and send young people to their deaths on the basis of maybe, if and when.............
