It meant they were accumulating The long green bars don't tell you whether they're buying or only short covering, though. But I bet whoever accumulated all the INTC right before close is surely sorry. For that matter, whoever accumulated anything (except for puts)in the closing moments is surely sorrier. Glad I booked those tidy gains today. It looks like an island reversal on tap for tomorrow (unless Bin Laden is captured tonight <g>)
