I think the sniper is a guy (or a couple guys) playing games. "I am God" is not something an Islamic terrorist would be likely to say, I think. Ditto for any other religion too.

Some other thoughts - the sniper's first shot (before he'd shot anyone) was through a Michael's store window in Aspen Hill, Maryland. It may have been a missed shot. He returned to the Aspen Hill area not too far away and shot his third victim, the cab driver. Did he/they feel compelled to return to the general area of the miss and redo it? On Friday, Oct. 4 a woman was wounded in Fredericksburg (outside a Michael's store). Then the following Friday, he/they returned to the Fredericksburg area and shot a man to death. Did they return to the area for a redo since the first shooting in Fredericksburg didn't take a life? If so, might the sniper(s) return to the Bowie Md area because the shooter failed to kill there also?
