Way OT: You might be interested in a couple of books by Karen Armstrong. She's a former nun who has written "The Battle for God" (fundamentalism in the three monotheisms), and "A History of God" (how the idea of God has changed over the last 4000 years). <<though many parts of the Qur'an promote peace, the other parts of it that support violence are terribly important>> The same could be said of the Bible, both Testaments. And the same could be said of the track record of organized religion among all 3 religions.
