Next time you post a link to support your views

They supported my views, you went for the "Ad Hominine" of their thinking on other subjects. I went for "fast and dirty" because it was in response to a post by Win, from whom I expect a sarcastic and "Ad Hominine" response.

environmental sciences are so different than the other sciences in it that their scientists invariably lie.

1) Because the subject is so "Political." All of them are based on "Man despoiling the Earth," The favorite litany of Environmentalists.

2) Most of them are not "lying" just choosing the "Evidence" that will get them grants. No "Pro-Environment" results, no Bucks.

Is there no non-profit environmental organization where a scientist can speak his mind without worry from governmental grants?

No, there are not. All the bucks come from the "Anti-Industrial Revolution" crowd. The guys I find on the net are operating without Gov or Non-Profit money. If they find Business Funding they are immediately accused of "Selling out."

You may remember "Nuclear Winter." It was a phony projection of the result of a Nuclear War, and was funded and pushed by the "Ant-Nuke" Crowd. They cowed all opposition into silence on the basis that they were doing "God's Work." It was disproved for good when the Kuwaiti fires happened. They then all quietly packed their bags and quit the issue. But, while it was hot, it was worth your job as a Physicist to come out against it.

Greenpeace is also on the governments' payroll?

You were not around when we were taking Greenpeace and Earth First apart during the South African Environmental Summit. They are eco-nuts of the first order, and very vicious. They, along with Earth First, told African Countries, who have people starving to death, not to feed them American GM corn. We in the states have been eating it for 7 years, it is totally safe, and GM food is sweeping the world. It is the newest "Green Revolution." Our Environmentalists tried to stop it here, but they did not have a leg to stand on.

The EU is using the GM as an excuse to protect their Farmers from competition. Zimbabwe has our donated corn rotting in warehouses while their people starve, in part due to Greenpeace and "Earth First."

So, no, I don't take Greenpeace's word on anything.

Modesty is a virtue,

Not when you are right, it isn't. I know, in Europe, your views are the "Accepted Wisdom" on CFC and Ozone, as are your views on another fraud, "Global Warming." You guys all had a "Hissy Fit" when Bush repudiated the Koyoto Treaty, I was a happy man.
