BankMerica announced pre open to downgrade intc, but someone bought about 5 mill shares near the open. You don't think ba was funnin' us, do you?

Would they risk that in this climate? Was the announcement just made to the public or was it in the morning meeting to their own brokers.

Inquiring attorney's minds want to know.
