Hm, OK then :) I didn't realize there were permanent Red Cross representatives in Guantanamo. I did a quick search, though. Here's what comes up in Google: The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said yesterday that those being held by American forces must be counted as prisoners of war under the Geneva Convention, and were, therefore, entitled to the full protection offered by it. globalpolicy.org This whole Guantanamo business feels more than a little dodgy to me, but this is probably another one of those subjects you beat to death before I came around :)
