What you say seems intuitively true - but only to reasonable people.

What aspect of Australian foreign policy or military action resulting in collateral damage would you blame for causing so many Australians to get blown up in Bali?

I am disgusted with many aspects of US foreign policy, but that is a separate matter, not the root cause of Al Quaida's campaign.
