Cetek Technologies Board Approves 500 Million Share Stock Repurchase Program

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 16, 2002--Cetek Technologies Inc. (NQB:CTKT - News) announced today the company's board of directors has approved a stock repurchase program. This program, which will become effective from Oct. 17, allows for Cetek to make open market transactions to purchase shares of Cetek Technologies Inc. The program allows for up to 500 million shares to be bought over an unspecified time period.
Cetek Technologies is based in Poughkeepsie and is a specialty material company with a focus in ceramic substrate applications for the electronic industry. The U.S. Dept. of Commerce in 1996 recognized Cetek's proprietary process when they were awarded a contract to develop the material for the back plane of the FPD (flat panel display) video technology.
