Nice find. It looks like analysts are beginning to talk about the company. Quiet period ought to be ending soon, I'm not sure when though.

Looks like a lot is happening according to that article. It will be interesting to see how the Electronic Art /ReBoot game will go. The ReBOot 3 reviews by the wonks on the JoeSmith Reboot page seem to think it will reinvigorate the series. I guess IMAX wil start up soon too.

I was encouraged to read there were 3 studios interested in the movie they are working on. I had previously thought it was only one. That significantly increases the chance of securing financing and distribution --also of getting the best deal. I think it's Paul ALlens company (SToryopolis) that has the first-look with WB, so I guess a few other guys have gotten wind of it.

Like the article said, it is increasingly looking like the top management guys at MFE have the contacts, reputation and savvy to get in on numerous projects early and sell the companies abilities. That is reassuring in the cut throat entertainmentn industry.

I do disagree with the analyst, however, on the valuation. Given the extremely high levels at which a Cinar trades at and the fact the MFE has a high degree of contracted income plus residual income, I think the current price is well-underpinned and the upside is any future announcement --not that a movie is needed in the next 12 months to justify the price.
