Since Laz did not recall it being Catholic or Christian in any manner, I consider your mutant- theory at least an improvement. Of course, you would have to show how it mutated, rather than being legitimately historically continuous, an impossible task, so I guess we are back to the facts: it is the Catholic Church down one imagined historical time line.

I want to know what the basis is for suggesting he is Judas. There is none that I can imagine, but I am always up for enlightenment. Against all the material I already pointed to in an earlier post, a brief mistake of identity means nothing........
