Xilinx Named Technology Supplier of the Year by Cisco Systems

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Xilinx (Nasdaq: XLNX - News) today announced that it has received the "Technology Supplier of the Year" award from Cisco Systems, Inc. Xilinx was selected for its significant contribution to technology that has positively impacted customer satisfaction for Cisco. The telecommunications leader cited Xilinx's programmable logic technology solutions as having helped Cisco reduce the time necessary to bring innovative new networking products to market.

A panel of representatives from Cisco's Corporate Supply Management and Global Supply Management organizations selected recipients of the 2002 Cisco Supplier Appreciation Awards.
