WASHINGTON (AP) — North Korea has told the United States it has a secret nuclear weapons program in violation of an agreement signed with the Clinton administration, a senior administration official said Wednesday night.

I applaud their honesty in the strongest possible terms. Honesty is the first step in the building of trust, and trust is necessary to resolve all issues.

Threats, betrayals, and lies are not the golden trio of characteristics that motivate the President into the desired behavior. It doesn't work on the President, and it doesn't work on Clouseau.
